The FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule is a review-program decision, not a footer disclaimer. For US scope, inventory how reviews and testimonials are created, bought, solicited, selected, moderated, reused, and measured, then send the resulting evidence to qualified counsel.

The rule took effect October 21, 2024 and authorizes courts to impose civil penalties for knowing violations.[2] It addresses business conduct around reviews and testimonials; it is not a general duty to prove that every ordinary customer opinion is true.
