Cookie Policy

• Neon Auth session cookie: keeps you signed in and lets the server verify paid access. Its duration follows the authentication session settings.
• session_data cookie: caches verified session information for about five minutes.
• atlas:progress:v1: stores completed lesson IDs and your last lesson or path until you clear site data.
• atlas:plan:v1: stores your completed plan, including questionnaire answers and timestamps, until you clear site data or the app replaces an incompatible version.
• atlas:feedback:v1: remembers your lesson helpful/not-helpful choices until you clear site data.
• atlas:analytics-consent:v1: remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics, when you chose, and the policy version shown at the time. It remains until you change the choice or clear site data.

These app preferences stay in your browser and are not sent to us merely because they are stored there.

If you accept analytics, PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in cookies and browser storage and receives the limited events described in our Privacy Policy. We disable automatic page-element capture and session replay. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

PostHog does not initialize before you accept. If you reject optional analytics, the site continues to work without it.

Use Cookie choices in the footer at any time to accept, reject, or withdraw consent for optional analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics capture and resets the PostHog browser identifier, but does not affect processing that occurred while consent was active.

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent progress, plans, feedback, magic-link sign-in, session persistence, or paid access from working as intended.

Questions about cookies or browser storage may be sent to hello@theecomatlas.com. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
