Make product data answer the questions shoppers use
Define and populate a consistent attribute model before configuring filters, synonyms, or compatibility search.
A filter cannot repair a catalog that calls the same material “cotton,” “100% cotton,” and “natural cotton” in three different fields. A synonym cannot answer “fits a Dell XPS 13” when the store has no fitment relationship. Search and filtering expose the product model already present in the catalog.
The decision is which shopper questions deserve structured, governed product data. Configure the interface only after the required fields are consistently populated.
