Make the order total clear
Show what is known, what is estimated, and what can still change before checkout.
The cart total should not pretend to know more than the store knows. It should make the current amount legible and identify every material amount that can still change.
The decision: show an accurate subtotal and applied adjustments now, then label shipping, tax, duties, discounts, and currency as exact, estimated, pending, or conditional.
