Choose the image types this product needs
Build the gallery around the product questions shoppers must answer, not a universal image checklist.
Do not start with a target number of images. Start with the questions a shopper cannot answer without seeing the product.
The decision is which visual jobs this product needs the gallery to perform. A cutout, a close-up, an in-scale image, a model shot, an in-use scene, a comparison, a video, and a 3D view are possible formats. None earns a place merely because it appears on a standard list.
