Choose the Core Web Vital to investigate
Use p75 field data to select LCP, INP, or CLS, then hand a page- and device-scoped diagnosis to the right owner.
Do not start a performance project with “make the site faster.” Choose the Core Web Vital that needs investigation, the affected device and page group, and the evidence a developer should reproduce.
Current good thresholds are measured at the 75th percentile: LCP at or below 2.5 seconds, INP at or below 200 milliseconds, and CLS at or below 0.1.[1] These are experience signals, not conversion forecasts.
